A rare bottling deserved of her moniker, the 1999 Diva draws immediate attention with her bright golden hue and a mousse that beads like a string of showy pearls. Complex aromas present harmonious delights: Satsuma mandarin, pie crust, green apple, and orange oil are punctuated with the more sophisticated nuances of meringue, turmeric, and coriander. A pleasant and slightly fat entry into the mouth shows flavors of lemon peel, almond, crisp wafer and key lime pie in rapid succession, finally settling on a finish that is at once unctuous, nectary, and pert.
